Mortgage Loan Options

Fixed Rate Mortgages

With a fixed-rate mortgage, you know exactly what your monthly principal and interest payments will be for the life of the loan. Your interest rate is locked in and you have the option of several different payment terms. It's a perfect solution if you plan to stay in your home for a long period of time and feel more comfortable with the stability of a fixed rate.

Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM)

With an ARM, interest rates can be locked in for a one, three, five, seven, or ten year time period. After the term expires, your rate adjusts either up or down based on the financial index associated with your particular loan. An ARM may be the right solution if you plan to be in your home for a short time or want to take advantage of a lower, initial interest rate.

Portfolio Loans

We offer a unique portfolio loan product that can help potential buyers with special circumstances or atypical financing requirements, which can make it difficult to qualify for a conventional home loan. They can be used for primary residence or second homes.

Federal Housing Administration Loans (FHA)

Veteran Administration Loans (VA)

Texas Vet Loans

Jefferson Bank is a participating lender in the Veterans Housing Assistance Program (VHAP). Exclusively for eligible Texas veterans, it provides an opportunity to purchase a home with little or no money down with a low interest rate. The home must be a primary residence located in Texas.

Jumbo Loans

A residential mortgage reaches the "jumbo" category when it exceeds the conforming loan limit. Currently in Texas, that loan limit is $484,350 for a single family home. Jefferson Bank offers jumbo loans for primary, second and vacation homes with both fixed and adjustable interest rates.
