PROJECT COOL: Summers in South Texas can be sweltering. For the elderly and disabled who may be without air conditioning, the high heat can create a health-threatening situation. Project Cool, a partnership between Catholic Charities, St. Vincent de Paul, United Way and the San Antonio Fire Department, procures and distributes thousands of electric box fans throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas to help bring relief to those in need. The Community Crew of Jefferson Bank is donating and delivering 700 box fans to Project Cool. You can help at ProjectCoolSA.org
